Anahata Chakra
The fourth chakra is located in the area of the heart.
It is called Anahata in Sanskrit, which means “unhurt”.
This name implies that within us exists one peaceful and safe place where there is no pain, the place where past experiences cannot hurt us anymore.
Heart chakra is emotional and it represents the first step towards a more spiritual being.
It is associated with love and relationships. When our Heart Chakra is open, we are full of love and compassion for others. We become open to others, we are not only self-directed.
The location of this chakra is after the first three material chakras, and before three upper, more spiritual chakra.
Love as manifestation of the fourth chakra is everywhere and it connects everything. Therefore, it is believed that this chakra is the central one, it connects physical and spiritual.
Perhaps that is why many cultures believe that the soul is located in the heart area, in the Heart Chakra area.
