The Problem of “Relaxing”
While you were reading about spirituality, meditation, yoga, ESP, or any kind of body practice, how many times did you come across the notion of relaxation?
This verb and those similar to it, are usually found in form of request like: “relax your body”, “empty your thoughts” or even as provocative metaphysical ideas such as: “become nothing” etc.
This serves as a type of pre-condition for the upcoming practice, but the problem is, one rarely talks about the meaning of the mentioned phrases.
In 90% of cases, you won’t find any kind of explanation or technique to achieve a “relaxed” state.
In this lection, we will address some of the aforementioned problems, offering a few simple ways to approach relaxation of mind and body, also developing the focus alongside the process.
Reading is the first step. Practice is the rest.
